About the Westfield development

Westfield and Commerz Real jointly own the nine hectare site, which lies directly north of the Westfield London shopping centre. The site currently contains a number of warehouse and distribution buildings in the White City industrial estate, as well as a bus station and the Grade II-listed DIMCO buildings.

Our proposals
Westfield’s proposals represent over £1 billion worth of investment and will transform the site into a vibrant new quarter of the town centre. By constructing a pedestrian podium over the Ariel Way roundabout and road network, Westfield will be able to deliver new homes, shops and mixed-use development to the area.

Regeneration will also bring leisure facilities to the area together with 6,700 new full-time equivalent jobs. Pedestrian routes between Westfield London and the surrounding areas will be greatly improved to encourage people to walk between the Shepherd's Bush, Kensington & Chelsea and the rest of the White City area.
